⚠️ Important Note: NVIDIA Founders Edition RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 cards may experience side-panel clearance issues due to the 12VHPWR adapter orientation and power connector exit position. Please verify your specific card dimensions and connector layout before purchasing.

Cooling & Airflow Design

Despite its compact 160 mm width, the M6i supports a robust dual-fan cooling strategy:

• CPU Cooler: Air coolers up to 135 mm tall
• Top Fan: 1× 140 mm (14025) — primary exhaust
• Rear Fan: 1× 92 mm (9025) — CPU intake

Recommended airflow: Configure the rear 92 mm fan as CPU intake and the top 140 mm fan as exhaust to create a direct rear-to-top thermal path, efficiently evacuating heat from both the CPU and GPU zones.

PSU Compatibility — Critical Fitment Rules

The M6i accepts SFX and SFX-L power supplies, but strict dimensional and orientation rules apply. Failure to follow these will prevent proper installation:

• Orientation: The PSU fan must face inward toward the chassis interior. Fan-facing-outward orientation is incompatible.
• Extension Cables: Ensure your power extension cable plug direction does not interfere with the side panel or internal hardware.
• Cable Type: Braided or sleeved custom modular cables are not recommended due to tight internal clearances. Use unsleeved or thin-gauge cables for the best fit.

Custom Cable Length Guide

For the cleanest possible build, we recommend custom-length unsleeved cables. The following lengths are measured without connector housings and are based on typical ITX layouts—adjust according to your motherboard's power connector positions:
